DISTRACTIONS DURING INTERVIEWS
Research has proven that the attention span of humans have gone below that of a goldfish. With the pandemic-led shift towards conducting of interviews online, the attention span of the interviewer is even more questionable than earlier. The distractions that the interviewer faces could be multiple scenarios such as conducting the interview from home under the WFH policy or a Shared Office Space, Interviewer doing multi-tasking, digital disturbances such as on-screen notifications, mobile alerts, calls and so on. The outcome however, could lead to inaccurate assessment as a result.
