Know your candidate's behaviour when in the interview

Behavioral analysis is all about understanding the dynamics of human emotions from time to time when subjected to changing situations or conditions. RiteHire Recruit identifies a variation between four (4) types of emotions ranging from positive to negative.

Knowing how a candidate’s behavior evolves with the changing situation in the interview process is a good indicator of how the candidate reacts and will help the recruiter to understand the personality of the candidate in dealing with situations. For example; a candidate who is calmly handling difficult situations where he/she is not confident about the question being posed shows a strong character while a panicky and anxious behavior shows weakness in handling tough situations. This makes the need for Behavioral Analysis a critical feature in the hiring process.

Progressive Behavioral Pattern is whenever a candidate gets shortlisted in any round; it is evident that the candidate is one step closer to securing the Offer Letter. This development or progression in the hiring process calls for excitement in the candidate on psychological terms. RiteHire Recruit’s AI is trained to look out for the behavioral traits that demonstrate a state of excitement, relative to the previous instances that portray a desire or willingness to join the new organization in case an offer is made. This element is super crucial to understand whether or not the candidate is really looking forward to joining the company or is he/she just trying out this interview as just another opportunity with other options on hand.

With about 80% of the candidates dropping off in the midst of the selection process and with about 32% of the candidates not showing up on the date of joining, the outcome of this analysis will help the recruiter to avoid an instance where the candidate would drop off in the middle of the selection process or might not show up on the day of joining.

Know the kind of person the candidate is

Personality analysis is a subset of Behavioral analysis wherein the personality of an individual is derived basis the mood swings within the interview duration.

It was intentionally decided not to bring in negative personality traits to avoid any negative impact on a job aspirant. As per the logic, a candidate who is more inclined towards demonstrating Excited and Happy emotions is more of a jovial character as against a candidate who is more inclined towards calm and is more displaying composed behavior. The results of the personality analysis will be more crucial when choosing the right candidate to suit the team and to the role being chosen.
